Below are the sites belonging to the big boys of the London Market. Keep in mind that they're going to accentuate the positive and minimise the negative and they can provide a good starting point for a little web-based trade homework.

AstraZeneca PLC (AZN.L)
is a London-based pharmaceutical company that discovers, develops, manufactures and markets prescription pharmaceuticals. It currently manufactures its products from 27 sites in 19 countries worldwide.
HSBC Holdings PLC (HSBA.L)
is a UK-based banking and financial services organization whose international network comprises over 10,000 properties in 82 countries worldwide.
Royal Dutch Shell
The biggie on the FTSE 100 list in terms of market capitalisation. What do they do? Straight from the horses' mouth - "Royal Dutch Shell consists of the upstream businesses of Exploration & Production and Gas & Power and the downstream businesses of Oil Products and Chemicals. We also have interests in other industry segments such as Renewables, Hydrogen and CO2." So, there you have it number 1 on the FTSE hot 100.
